Through a series of drama games and physical theatre exercises in Greek, children will be introduced to the 12 Gods of Olympus. They will then be encouraged to develop characters who will offer advice to people of today on how to tackle the issue of global warming and its consequences on the planet. This is a great opportunity for children between the ages of 8-11 years old, to build confidence in using the Greek language, and to explore the world of Greek mythology and its current relevance.
The workshop is run by Ms Konstantina Rapti, a London-based education specialist with an MA in Applied Theatre – Drama in Education and Drama with Communities from University of London, with extensive experience as a Community Drama teacher for children and adults both in London and Athens.
